DiPACE

DiPACE is a fixed or portable digital interview recorder which manages and creates complete, secure and accurate records of your interviews on-site in digital form. The self-contained unit allows users to easily obtain transcriptions for the record, create annotation and store the proceedings (on a CD or on a remote store) without the need for computer expertise or sound engineering knowledge. It complies with the PACE requirements for audio recorders.

DiPACE is designed for immediate operation and is easy to use. Users can access a full recording of the interview immediately after the interview has ended.

DiPACE allows you to review the interview recording in your own time and select only the areas of the proceedings you deem necessary to be transcribed. This allows you to cut the cost of hiring a stenographer or engaging a minute taker for the entire duration of the interview.

DiPACE enables users to create a CD-ROM of the proceedings immediately after the proceedings have ended for distribution to relevant parties or for archiving purposes. The recording can also be distributed via a secure network to a transcription service for the production of a verbatim hard copy. These capabilities are vital for the next phase of PACE interview process development.
